Remove Password Protection by using the Action Wizard?

Hello,

I´ve got many of PDFs in one Folder and each one is protected by the same Password.

My question is now, how can I remove the protection in a batch or sequence using the Action wizard or Javascript.

There`re over 800 Files and it could be worst to open each one manually and remove the Protection 😞

Thank´s for all Answers!

Bye,

Stefan

This method no longer works for me in Acrobat Pro 2017, although it did work briefly. The action now shows the encyption step to remove the password as inactive and does not perform it.

Is there a Javascript method for removing the password?
