Hi @Bodyguard446,

Thanks for your patience.

We need some more details from your end for further investigation.

When you mention restarting the laptop, is it a force restart with Acrobat still open?

The files would relaunch only if they are still open on Acrobat, and the application is quit. If you have manually closed the file and then quit Acrobat, the files will not launch.

Would you mind sharing a screen recording of the event you are referring to for better understanding?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Souvik.

Hi @Bodyguard446,

Thanks for the response.

Now it makes sense. If the system is hard-restarted, it means the applications are not quit but registered as a crash by the system.

Since it does not count as a quit of application by the system, Acrobat fails to launch the previously opened files.

To test, can you open the files and close the application without restarting your system, and let us know if it works?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Souvik.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat.

I am able to reproduce this issue on my end. Please allow me some time to get this investigated with the development team and get back to you.

Your kind understanding and patience is highly appreciated.
