Replace document colors doesn't recognize text/font

Question

I'm trying to view pdf slides from my class with replaced document colors, but the majority of the text is outlined rather than colored in cyan. Does anyone have an insight into this issue?

We are aware of a similar request as part of the Accessibility and that is currently under development. To understand your scenario better, if possible would you share the file with us? The requirement to change the PDF background color? So we can understand the workflow and help you sort this out.
