Replace pages

I have a 1694 page pdf file which will be printed front to back.  Side 2 of the printed file needs to be replaced with a new page.  This new page will be the same for all letters.  Is there a way to select all EVEN pages and then replace them with the same file?

    This can be done using a script, but I don't think there's a built-in command that will allow you to do it.
