Replacing Acrobat DC 2018 with Adobe X

I have current licence for Adobe Acrobat DC (Version 2018) which will expire soon. Our company has currently an available licence for an Adobe X Pro to use (have a serial number).

I tried to install  Adobe X Pro but it has a clash with Acrobat DC and could not finish installation.

Two questions:

1. Do i need to uninstall Acrobat DC  to install X Pro?

2. How can i check if my Adobe X Pro licence is fully operational

Fully uninstall Acrobat DC (and any other versions of Acrobat or Adobe Reader).

Go to Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  to download the Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool. Run this as an Administrator.

Reboot.

Then, install Acrobat 10 Pro.

I have available Adobe X Pro licence. is this gonna work on Acrobat 10 Pro?

I assume once I have a licence number it is a perpetual and goes forever so i do not need to check validity ?

You cannot make any such assumption. Many corporate licenses are not perpetual licenses, but term licenses, only good for a specified period of time. You need to confirm whether the license is a volume perpetual or a volume term license with whoever acquires the Adobe licenses in your company.
