I/we have this issue too. I’m on a new laptop, installed Creative Cloud and Acrobat yesterday, can’t access digital signing. Click “Request e-signatures” results in nothing, if I select the “E-Sign” tab I get the two spinning wheel icons mentioned previously in this thread, signature functionality never loads.

@Anand Sri Bhattacharya I heard back from Adobe support, and the fix was simple (but I would never have guessed it). I had to:

     - Go to Preferences / Languages

     - Set “Application Language” to “Same as the operating system” (mine was something like ‘English with Arabic support’)

     - Click Ok

     - Restart Acrobat

That fixed it for both me and a colleague that had the same issue.

    Hello @tobym,

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. We're sorry for the trouble you had.

Could you please share more details about the issue? What is the complete workflow you are trying? Is this for Adobe Acrobat desktop on Windows or macOS? Could you please share a screenshot of the window you get?

Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 26.001.21789, Out of cycle update, Aug 11, 2026. Check for any pending updates by navigating to Menu (Windows) | Acrobat (Mac)> Help> Check for Updates. Install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.

Check if you are able to access the services on the Acrobat web: Sign in at Acrobat on the web and try: E-Sign > Request e-signatures.

Try a different network, for example, a phone hotspot instead of the office LAN or VPN. If the spinner clears on the hotspot, a corporate firewall/proxy is blocking Adobe's endpoints, and that is the fix to pursue with IT.

Let us know how it goes, and please reach out if you need any assistance.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.

Yes, I can access the functionality via Acrobat on the Web. What I’d like to use is the Windows version - as I said, I installed Creative Cloud and Acrobat onto a new laptop yesterday. I have already checked for updates, and installed the one that found. I have restarted everything. I have already tried on two networks, my office and at home.

In Acrobat if I click “Request e-signatures” under “All tools” nothing happens. If I click “E-Sign” at the top, I get the spinning wheels (attached).

I’m on the latest version (also attached).

Hello @tobym, thanks for the extra details and screenshots. Since Request e-signatures works for you in Acrobat on the web, your Adobe account and the Acrobat Sign service entitlement look less likely to be the root cause.

If the services were assigned to you by your organisation, then can you please check with the team about assigning the Sign services to you?

    For testing purposes only:

    • Windows: Menu > Disable new Acrobat
    • In the restart dialog, choose Restart
    • After Acrobat relaunches, try E-Sign > Request e-signatures again.

If you are able to use the services, then perform a clean installation on the machine. Also, ensure all the mandatory and optional updates related to the operating system are installed.

Close all Adobe apps, then use the Acrobat Cleaner tool to remove the installed app. Restart the machine, and install Acrobat. Check the service and the tool.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.
