Resizing Numerous Check Marks

Question

Many pdfs that I convert into forms do not include all of the necessary check marks. So I have been adding them manually. The check marks usually need to be smaller than the auto size. Because there are many, I change one and then Ctrl select the others to match, using the size features on the left pannel.

However, sometimes the first selected check mark resizes to the the second selected size, and other times the second resizes to the first selected size. Sometimes I even end up with layers of duplicates.

My question is, how do I set the control size? Does it have to do with holding down the Ctrl key? How does Adobe decide which size to follow?

HiSelect multiples any way you want — Marquee drag, Keyboard shortcut, any order. Then hover over the one you like and right-click that one, then make the change. Ctrl+Drag is the shortcut for duplicate. Choose Undo if that happens. Keep an eye on the Field List as you work, and you can even make your selection of multiples using the field list. I find that easier with small checkboxes. ~ Jane
