Restart post upgradation of Adobe Acrobat reader DC

Not sure about the term server here. But yes, it's always recommended to reboot the device after getting the installation done. The installer does not shut down the background processes automatically.

Hence, it needs to be restarted to force shut down. 

You can do that immediately after installation or postpone it to do this later. As some time its not possible to restart the system in between the work.
