Revalidating Adobe acrobat file

Question

Hello everyone! I am a bit confused with validation function in Adobe Acrobat. I have a form that I need to fill in and validate. After I filled it in, it generated a barcode, but now I see a mistake in the form and need to edit it. My question is - if I revalidate it, will the barcode reflect the new edits or I need to fill in a brand new form and validate it?

This is not a built-in command in Acrobat, but something someone added to the form, probably using a script.

So we can't say for sure how it works, but most likely yes, the barcode will probably update when you re-click the button. You can just look at it when you click and see if it changes... Or take a screenshot before and compare it to the state of the barcode after you click, if the button and barcode are not close to each other.
