Hope you are doing well.

Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the Toolpane you refer to above? Identifying whether you are on Acrobat's New UI or old one would be easy.

Though, Acrobat Pro has no direct way of disabling/hiding the tool pane. However, there is a registry setting and changing that would help you closing the tool pane permanently
