Run Acrobat XI Pro with CC subscription

Acrobat XI Pro is no longer available in the Creative Cloud app. All I can do is uninstall DC. It turns out I need it for a short time.

I found a download here, but it says it requires a serial number, which I do not have, because XI was included with Creative Cloud.

How can I run Acrobat XI without a serial number but with a CC subscription?

And might I ask why Acrobat XI is not available through CC? Is that a mistake?

Hello Jane-e,

I am sorry for the delayed response, you will be able to activate Acrobat 11 with your email address associated with the Creative Cloud subscription.

Please remove Acrobat DC from the machine using the Acrobat cleaner tool because during the installation, If Acrobat DC is already installed, the installation setup will be terminated Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reboot and download the standalone installer of Acrobat Pro 11 from Download Acrobat XI, Acrobat X

During the installation process, please choose trial and complete the installation process.

Launch Acrobat and it will prompt you to sign-in with your Adobe ID or manually sign in form Preferences, please sign in and it will activate the application.

Installing the previous version of Acrobat from CC desktop app was not available after DC release.

I was trying your installation process but it didn't work for me. After signing in, the applications asks for a serial.

Do you have further advice for me?

Normally it should work. Subscriptions allow to activate Acrobat Pro since version 11. This serial number message is there because at the time, there was no subscription.
