Same licence another devices

As a company I purchased a Acrobat Pro licence and I want to use it for two devices. One is a laptop, the other is a PC. For some reason I can not use the Adobe on the laptop when I sign in. The sign in is successful but there is no option for editing a PDF.

What could be the problem?

In addition to what our community product has rightly mentioned, we verified your Adobe ID (email), which is associated with a Team license of Adobe Acrobat Pro. The license is assigned to the email address you used to log in to the community.

Adobe's Named User License (NUL) model allows activation on up to two devices simultaneously. If you've already activated Acrobat Pro on two devices, you may need to deactivate one before using it on another. Go to Help > Sign Out on one of the devices, then sign in again on your laptop to activate editing features. See this article for more information: https://adobe.ly/4lN2kHo

Please ensure you have Adobe Acrobat installed on the second machine. You can do a fresh installation using the Acrobat Cleaner tool, restart the machine after removing the installed app, and download Adobe Acrobat from the direct link. Use the Adobe ID (email)to sign in.

Thank you for your answer, but that wasn't the information what I get during my call when I was interested in this topic.

Since I'm working in hybrid this log in and log out thing is impossible and not easy.

Is there any other solution for me?

Also, I would like to purchase one another licence as well for my boss. What is the best possible option for us as a firm?

The Adobe Acrobat Pro license you're using is a Named User License (NUL). This model allows activation on up to two devices, but it’s designed for one user only, and not for simultaneous use on both devices. If you're signed in on your PC and then try to use Acrobat on your laptop without signing out first, the software may recognize your license but restrict editing features.

1. Adobe Acrobat Pro Individual License

Best for freelancers or very small teams.
Each license is tied to one Adobe ID and allows use on two devices (not simultaneously).

2. Adobe Acrobat Team License

Recommended for firms and collaborative environments.
Centralized license management via Admin Console.

@lok_1516 An Acrobat Pro license (which is a named-user license) is designed for a single user to use on two computers. However, you can't be actively signed in and using the software on both devices at the exact same time. When you log in on the second computer (your laptop), Acrobat might not be fully functional if the first computer (your PC) is still signed in and active. The software might get stuck in a state where it recognizes your license but doesn't grant you full access, which is why you can sign in but don't see the editing options. The solution is to make sure you're properly signed out of one device before using the other.
