There was recently a big update to Adobe and since that all the tabs (All tools, Edit, Convert, E-sign) are now completely blank. I need to be able to save documents as a certified copy for my job and that button is gone, I cant see that there is any other way to save it as certified when using the Menu > Save As button. I have checked for updates, I have deleted and re-created my digital ID and nothing is working.

    Hi All!

Thanks for your patience and cooperation on this.

Please try the following suggestions, and let us know if this fixes the issue for you.

Please note: Create a backup of the registry settings before making any changes. To create a backup, check this article: https://adobe.ly/4uKUumg

    • Go to the registry location: "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown"

    • Right-click on the right blank space > select New > DWORD 32-bit value.

    • Rename it to:  bGenCoverPagesLabelStrings

    • Right click on the new value > Click Modify > add the value as ‘1’ (numeric one)

    • Restart the Acrobat and the machine and check the performance.

Thank you so much this has worked! I don’t know if you are able to help me with some employees getting this message when they opened a signed document. ‘The validity of the document certification is UNKNOWN. The author could not be verified.’
