Save All PDFs on Quit

When I quit Acrobat Pro it asks me if I want to save open PDFs. The answer is always yes, for all PDFs, but every time I quit I must confirm that I want to save each. Individual. Document. Separately. Over. And. Over. Again. This is annoying and time-consuming, especially when many PDFs are open. Is there a way to simply "quit and save all open PDFs" in one or two steps?

I searched a bit (not a lot) online and found some people suggesting rewriting the software code to allow this. I don't feel able to do this, nor do I feel I should have to for what seems like a basic function.

Any help appreciated!

You can't rewrite the software code.

However, it is possible to write a script that will add a new menu item that will close and save all current files when you click it. I don't think it can actually close the application itself, though. You will need to do that manually.

I think it reveals something about my coding skills (or lack of them) that this seems like the same thing to me! Regardless, this seems like an unreasonable demand on the user. Most programs I use simply have a 'Save All' button, why can't Adobe just do that too? I sometimes wonder why I'm paying an overpriced subscription when so few features are included, it's like buying an expensive coat and then being told that you need to learn to sew if you want sleeves.

In any case, can I confirm that this is the only solution, rather than one possible solution? If so, how would I write the script?

Thanks in advance and please don't take my grumbles with Adobe as lack of appreciation for your answer. Assuming that is that you are not the product lead for Acrobat.
