Save as fills my screen

When I do a Save As, the save screen fills the normal area on my screen. I can't make it smaller. This is a problem to me as I can no longer see the document that I am saving, or any other references that I might be using to decide where to save the file to. How do I get control of this so I can make it smaller?

Correct answer Ory

The problem is those double headed arrows that change the size of the box. They are there, I can see them and and can click them, but they don't move the box. it is locked at full screen.

You will also notice that at the top right, there is only a red boxed cross button for close. Where are the maximise and minimise buttons?

Actually, I just fixed it myself. The Adobe button in the top left has an option "Restore". The maximise button up there, top left, makes it full screen, while the restore button pulls it back.

We had this issue on Win11 and were able to resolve it by clicking “Hide Folders” on the bottom left. There was no Adobe icon to click. And the bottom right corner didn’t allow us to resize. But hitting the Collapse/Hide folders button fixed it.

View as below. I am saving a PDF file and the save box has completely filled the screen. I cannot make it smaller. I do see the window's edge controls (arrows to change size), but they don't work. The only option at top right is close.

Hi,

Looks like you've resized that manually previously and that size is getting retained for you.

Please resize this Window using the Bottom right corner and reduce the size. From next launch onwards, this dialog will come in the reduced size itself.

Let me know if that helps
