Save as Other>Reduce PDF size no longer in Creative Cloud version

I regularly use Save as Other>Reduce PDF size for multi-page directories with lots of photos. 

I tried it today and Acrobat wants me to upgrade. 

I am a long-time Creative Cloud subscriber. I use Acrobat through CC -- Version 2026.001.21691.

I don’t need 100 AI functions, just the simple compression that’s always been available in the standard package.

Is this a mistake? Or is there another way to shrink the size of a bloated PDF?

    Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble caused.

    The application should function as expected, and there haven't been any changes to its operation under the Creative Cloud subscription. If it was working correctly before, it should continue to do so now.

    Please make sure you are signed in to the application with the Adobe ID you used to purchase the subscription. Also, it would be helpful if you could share the specific error message you encounter when trying to use the feature.
