Save-As shows blank, disable online locations Save as won't save

Question

I have the very cmmon problem o the save-as box comes up blank. I have unchecked the Show online locations options, and I do get the save as dialog after taht. I try to save (multiple locations from my profile to C:\Temp) it acts like it saves but the file is never made. I close Adobe and relaunch and the online locations is back checked again and the cycle continues. I have even made the change and rebooted, same cycle. I uninstalled and downladed from my adobe account page aand checked for updates (none cause it was latest version). same issue. I have also moved to another computer and having the same issue there.

THe file I am working on is a 200+ pages binder of emals that were converted to PDF and has redactions for a legal case.

The workaround is I am printing to PDF but then the quality drops and some owrds become illegible.

@joy_8839 I know you've already tried a lot, and it's a huge pain to go through these steps, you mentioned reinstalling, but did you use the Adobe Acrobat Cleaner Tool? This tool is more thorough than a standard uninstall and removes all traces of the program, including corrupt settings and preference files that might be the root of the problem and are causing the online locations option to revert. After running the tool, reboot your computer before reinstalling.
