Saving a PDF file and reducing the Scale percentage on a Mac

Question

I have a problem where in Windows I was able to just change the scale percentage of a PDF and just print to PDF, but this option does not work on Mac as only can print to an actual printer and cannot save the PDF (see picture below).

Does anyone know how I can reduce the PDF scale to a certain percentage on a Mac?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Print to PDF (aka refrying) is not a good practice.

On the Mac this is impossible because Apple has locked down the virtual printing services which are inaccessible to third party editors.

But it doesn't matter because there are Profiles dedicated to this task in the Preflight tool.
