saving a secured file

hello-

I have a PDF that I need to fill in and save. The file is labeled "SECURED" and so when I try to fill it in, it says the only way to save a copy is to print (and printing as a PDF is not an option). The company that sent me the PDF has assured me that all i need to do is click "enable all features" and i will be allowed to save the filled in information. I do not have that as an option (instead I get a purple banner that says "Please fill out the form. you cannot save a copy of this form." The company is not able to send a version that is not secured. I'm not sure what else to try! I've downloaded the most recent version of Acrobat; I've tried this on two different computers in two different locations, and on both Mac and PC. Anyone have a suggestion?

Thank you!

Do you see a Save a Copy command under the File menu?

It sounds to me like you are maybe opening the pdf in Acrobat Reader rather than Acrobat?

Yes, trying in Reader which was the only free download option that I know of (Here's was the company's instructions: (* Do not try to open in your browser. Instead, right click (PC) or Control-Click (MAC) and select “Save Link As” to download the file to your computer. Then open the file in the latest version of Adobe Reader.) And it was hyperlinked to Adobe Acrobat Reader DC download. Is that the issue? I need to by Adobe Acrobat in order to do this??
