Hi there,

Is there a way to save a fillable form into a not-interactive PDF?

I am trying to make a format for a report so that my collegue can easily fill it our every month and send it to our stakeholders. I have designed the form and added fillable fields in Acrobat Pro DC.

After my collegues has filled out all the fields, how can she export it in a way that the filleble options disappear? We don't want anyone to be able to edit the PDF when we send it via e-mail. I feel like I have tried every option hahah

Hope there is someone able to help, thanks a lot!

There are many options for flattening a PDF so the field text is left behind and the fields are removed.

You can use the preflight option, Save as Optimized, or use the free flattening tool here:

The best option is to digitally sign it. Add a Signature field and go to its Properties and under the Signed tab set it to lock all fields. Then save the file, sign it by clicking the field and save it under a new name.
