Scale down the fit to page option

I currently print pdf's and then make copies. The issue is when my originals get scanned to copy the left side and top is getting cut off, so I need to "shrink" down the fit to page within adobe. The issue is with the new printer, but I am unable to get it fixed. Is there anyway to use the fit to page option but have the margins increased or shrink down the fit to page?

Hi Kristie33498622g402 ,

This cannot be set as the default. You have to do it manually for individual PDFs.

You may also try using the following option:

- Open the PDF and click on the Print icon.

- Under the Page, Size & Handling, select the Size tab.

- Choose the radio button to customize and select the % less than 100 %. See what percentage works for you.

- Then print.

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Kristie33498622g402,

Thank you for reaching out.

You may try increasing the margin area for the PDF. Please try the steps suggested below:

- Open the PDF in Acrobat.

- Go to Organize Pages > Set page boxes.

- In the Set page boxes window, under the change page size select the radio button for Custom.

- Try to increase the size as you wish, say 1 inch in width and 1 inch in height.

Check if that works for you.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

This worked, but how do I apply this as a default setting?
