scanning with a new printer: printer software overrides Acrobat

Question

We recently purchased a Brother L6700DW printer. With our previous Brother printer, I initiated scans from Adobe Acrobat. Brother now requires I use their scanning software. If I initiate from acrobat, I get a scan which is distorted and appears on the left half of the page. I have tried removing and reinstalling both Adobe and Brother's drivers with no luck.

Anyone know?

Sorry for the issue you are facing. Can you please share following information to help us identify and resolve the issue ASAP:

- Acrobat version number

- OS detail

- Resolution and color mode you are scanning with

- Please share a sample file which was distorted after scanning

Please scan with different values of resolution and color mode once.
