scroll bar missing in Acrobat Pro for Mac, CC version 6.0.0.571

The vertical scroll bar is completely not working in Acrobat Pro for Mac. I see many comments about this problem and no actual solution that does anything. It doesn't work properly with a mouse or with trackpad on my laptop. It's like trying to use crummy software from 1990--trying to work around it when it should be one of the most normal pieces of functionality, dragging the cursor on the pages to try to get to next page because THE SCROLL BAR DISAPPEARS. I have tried following all instructions I can find and looked at preferences, and none of it makes any difference. Why has Adobe not provided a solution?
I guess I will try to call on Monday and see if anyone has anything relevant to say on this. I may cancel my paid subscription for this because it adds up to a lot of money from something with such crappy funcionality. I do not want some lengthy verbiage about upgrades or how this is part of some future developments, blah, blah. Just fix it! What is so damn hard?

Update: I called Adobe support about this. They finally connected me to a technician who said that this has been an issue for Mac OS versions 13-14 with the current version of Acrobat. They installed an older version of Acrobat, which seems to be version 2022.001.20112. The scroll bars seem to be working in this version. Not clear if/when Adobe will fix this problem.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
