Search-Auto-Highlight and Save

How do you search for text and then have it auto-highlight those words and then save the document?  We are using Adobe Acrobat Pro

There's no built-in feature that does that in Acrobat. You can use the Search & Remove tool to mark text for redaction, and then replace those redaction annotations with highlights, using a script, though.

 

Another option is to use a script to do it all, like in this (paid-for) tool I've developed:
