Searching ANSI fonts

I have an Armenian-language PDF that is using ANSI fonts (see below). Adobe is not able to search the doc (or, rather,  it keeps saying it is not finding anything). The help docs are not particularly helpful. Is there something I need to do to make searches possible? Thanks.

Not sure about your search problem, but to address your screen grab first, the two fonts for Aramian have not been embedded, so are being replaced by the generic Adobe Serif. This shouldn't affect search, but without seeing your PDF, I can't guess anything further.
