Question

Secure way of doing shared review in the cloud?

For the past several years, I've done shared PDF reviews through Acrobat using an internal network location. Increasingly, this seems to be leading to errors, and Mac users often have trouble accessing the shared review or working in it.

Because of this, I'm interested in using the cloud-based shared review, but I need a method that limits access only to the people I invite. I've been reading help on what's available, but it's confusing since it seems some users have a newer interface and others do not. So here are my questions:

  • Is it possible to limit access to a PDF shared for review on the cloud to only the people I designate?
  • If so, is that possible regardless of whether I'm using the new UI or not? Or do I need to be on the new interface?

Thanks in advance!

 Hi @tammyp42032022

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Use the Adobe Document Cloud review service to easily share PDF files for review from Acrobat desktop application, the Document Cloud web, or Acrobat Reader mobile app. When reviewers click the URL in the email invitation from their computer, they can easily provide their feedback in a browser without having to sign in or install any additional software.

You can limit the access of the shared PDF by sending the personalized invitation as described in the help page (https://adobe.ly/48iocor)

That doesn't really answer my questions - whether you need the new UI, for instance, and whether it can be limited to the people you invite. Can anyone with the link access the review?

@sprinklr-integration-user Have you seen my additional questions above? Your responses above don't quite answer my questions. From what I see, it looks like this method means anyone with the link can see the review. So does that mean there is no way to limit/secure the review?
