security_hklm_only set to 1 prompt to upgrade software

We have a gpo in place that sets security_hklm_only to 1, when users try and load Adobe Acrobat DC it will prompt:


"Update required
Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system. Learn more"

 

If I set security_hklm_only to 0, it then brings up the sign in box as normal.

 

Has anyone had similiar experience and is there a fix for this?

    Do you have the path for the key for this fix, I have this exact issue on Server 2016 and 2019 with an upto dat eOS and brouser

      What is the exact operating system and build number? Maybe you are outside system requirements, but your change causes a check.

      Windows 10 20H2, I had already installed the lastest available updates for both Windows and Adobe and retired with the same error.
      It was until i changed the registry key to 0 was when it worked.

      Tested this on another pc that was not up to date and same result, disable the key and the sing in box loads without the update your system prompt.
