Self upgrading to pro and can't stop

Hi Folks,
I am having an issue running Adobe Reader.
I recently set up a pro version for a friend and when i did my own adobe reader decided it was going to upgrade itself even though there was no account signed into it.
I have uninstalled it and removed all the install files i can find on the hard drive however everytime I reinstall the free version of the software, it comes up saying "upgrading key features" and asking me to sign in and buy a plan rendering the viewer useless.
Any thought on how to stop it self upgrading to pro?

You may want to try this again with Adobe AcroCleaner.

1. Uninstall all your Acrobat software

2. Use AcroCleaner to scrub any and all remnants of Adobe Acrobat from your system. Not only will it remove all remaining scraps of Acrobat that may be lurking somewhere deep in your system, it will leave it lemony fresh.

3. Shut down the computer. Restart, and install Adobe Reader and you should be past your issues.

Good Luck,

Thanks Randy,
I gave it a go, a few times but still have the same issue. It is an odd one. I am however enjoying the lemony fresh scent left over by AcroCleaner. Helps ease the pain of not being able to use the reader.

Hi @Andrew3105557515e4 ,

Please try deleting the Acrobat related folder from location C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\LocalLow\Adobe\Acrobat\DC

and then install Reader and try.
