Question

Send pdf as attachment to gmail (disable plain text mode)

Hi,

I miss the ability to compose the PDF sent from Acrobat to GMail (browser) directly in a good environment. Now the pdf arrives as an attachment but the email is in plain text mode.

This creates a problem with the email signature that contains an image... Now I have to turn this mode off and add the signature again.

Would save time if this could be put directly into normal text mode (rich html).

Hi @Geert339084930oo5

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Have you started experiencing this issue recently with the new update of Acrobat version 23.06.20380 or was it an issue earlier as well?

It seems to be more of an MS Gmail issue, please try to get in touch with the MS support team as well and see if that helps.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi Amal,

I think this is also the case with the previous version, we recently changed the email signature within the company and it now contains an image.

Expect that there is an option to define content ‘text/html’ with the API, when I find the time I will come back to this. https://developers.google.com/gmail/api/guides/uploads
