Sending .pdf copies

Sometimes when I want to send a .pdf and it allows me to send a copy, and sometimes, for some reason, I can only "send a link." Can anyone tell me what is going on?

    Can you help us understand what might be the difference between the files?

    • Are they all created the same way?
    • Are they stored in the same location type? (server, cloud, locally...)
    • Are they containing different type of information? (signed forms, just design...)
    • Do they have different security settings? (File > Properties > Security)
    • Do they have very different file sizes? Some applications still use a limit of 2 Mb email attachments
