Question

sequences folder

Hi

I'm having some issues saving actions.

I can't create a new one or import saved ones because they dissappear as soon as you close acrobat.

Acrobat is saving them in C:/Users/<user name>/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Acrobat/DC/Sequences and, for some reason, they don't remain there.

Is there any way of changing this default folder?

Thanks in advance

I got on a chat today, and it was taking so long that I asked for them to email me. About an hour ago, they emailed me a link to this thread.

Has anyone received a satisfactory resolution to this issue? This is occurring on two different computers, one with Acrobat Pro 2015 and one with Acrobat Pro 2017. They .sequ files just disappear from the quick tools menu and are no longer located in the folder C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\2015\Sequences

Are you on a networked computer (in an office setting, for example)? If so, make sure you have sufficient permissions to write to this folder.

yes, we work on a network but I have permissions to write to his folder since is my user folder.

I don't think it's a permissions issue:

My IT colleague saved .sequ files where adobe saves the default ones (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Sequences\ESP). When I access these actions from the Manage Actions menu, as I do not have administrator permission, I cannot do some things such as deleting, renaming, etc. these actions.
These limitations due to lack of permissions do not occur in the case of the ones I create and store in the user folder

try67, thanks a lot!
