Serializing Acrobat Pro 2020 for Windows

Hi,

I am trying to serialize Acrobat Pro 2020 for Windows. Just to be clear, that's the process of entering the serial number so that Acrobat doesn't ask the user to log in every time it is run.

I used to serialize Acrobat Pro 2017 by going to https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Wizard/WizardDC/basics.html and downloading the tools. But that link no longer works.

Then I would run the Adobe customization wizard, enter the serial number, and install with the command:

msiexec.exe /i AcroPro.msi TRANSFORMS=AcroPro.mst

Has this method changed for Acrobat Pro 2020?

Can I use the same tools for Acrobat Pro 2020 as I used for 2017? Or do I have to download something new? And if so, where is it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for reaching out.

The URL for the enterprise tool kit has changed. You may refer to the information provided on the following page now: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/index.html

Hope the information helps.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

The page at https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/index.html seems to be geared towards the Document Cloud products. I'm having trouble finding the info specific to the License Once version of Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020, not the DC version. Can you point me to the tools for serializing that?

Thanks.
