disable automatic signature verification, and / or  update the AATL in the Trust Manager under Acrobat Preferences and see if it helps

it looks like an automatic uodate is trying to run in the background.

 

check also if restaring the PC  to apply the update resolves the issue.

I'm having the same problem!

It's working again.  I think the issue was with Adobe.

were you able to determine how the issue was resolved by itself?

 

Was it a server that was temporary down?
