Setting a word limit, not character limit in Text Field Properties

Have Adobe made an update to this so that we can set a word limit rather than a character limit? For student exams we need them to have a word limit. It would be great if this feature has ben added as I cannot find anything for it, only character limits.

    @Abambo I realise this but that is why I was asking if there has been any update as it is a feature that is needed. Also, how do I find the custom script?
