Question

SharePoint site is not added as a storage in Adobe Acrobat

OS - Windows 11

Adobe Acrobat (64-bit)25.001.20997

When I try adding an SPO site (I use global admin account and 100% it has acces to the specified SPO site) I get this error.

In the SPO acces is allowed for app not using modern auth.

In the SPO there is an Enterpise App for Adobe Acrobat with admin consent granted.

Please advise what else I should check?

Hello,

Thank you for the report, and we apologize for the trouble.
Please check these quick steps first:

  1. Update Acrobat: Help → Check for Updates.
  2. Sign out/in of Acrobat, then go to Home → Add file storage → SharePoint and sign in with your work account.
  3. If it still fails, repair the installation: Help → Repair Installation.

If your org manages Microsoft 365: ask your admin to confirm that users can consent to the Acrobat/Adobe Document Cloud enterprise app (or apply Admin consent) and that Conditional Access policies aren’t blocking app sign‑ins.

If the issue persists, please run the Diagnostics Utility (with advanced logging enabled), reproduce the error, and share the Log ID with us via a private message so we can investigate further.

To send a private message, click the envelope icon in the top-right corner.

Best regards,

After disabling modern authentication in registry HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\<product name>\<version>\FeatureLockDown and deleting the followin g directories

rd /s /q %appdata%\Adobe\Acrobat
rd /s /q %appdata%\Adobe\NGL
rd /s /q %localappdata%\Adobe\NGL
rd /s /q %localappdata%\Adobe\Acrobat
rd /s /q %localappdata%\Adobe\AcroCef
rd /s /q %localappdata%low\Adobe\Acrobat
rd /s /q %localappdata%low\Adobe\AcroCef

I managed to add SPO site.

However, when a user wants to save a file they see this.

Why it disappears?

Does the user do something wrong?

Hi GL012025 ,

Thank you for sharing the information and the screenshots.

This appears to be odd behaviour. Please confirm whether the file was opened from the local source or saved on a drive. Did you check if this happens with other files?

Please collect the process logs using the diagnostic tool and share the log ID created. Also, share the Acrobat and OS version numbers currently in use. We will get this checked.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
