Sharing Network File

I am running into a issue with one of our users when trying to share a file via email. We can share local files via share → email→ ( send as link and can add comments are disabled) then hitting okay and the Outlook window will open fine with the PDF as a attachment.

When we try to share a file that is opened from a network location adobe will freeze and have to be closed via Task Manager.

We have already done the following for troubleshooting

• Repaired and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat
• Updated and repaired Outlook
• Turned off protected view and enhanced security in preferences
• Added the network location to privileged locations
• Running Outlook with Adobe addins disabled and enabled

One interesting thing we have found is that we can get the network files to open the Outlook window with the PDF attached if Outlook is not running. Are there any other settings I should check that may be causing this freeze or is there anything else we can try to troubleshoot?
