Hi @Nicholas28208919nasf,
Sorry for the delayed response and troubled experience. Thank you for reaching out with your feedback and questions.
With the latest version of Acrobat, when you open a PDF file that contains comments, Acrobat will automatically open the comments panel for you. However, there’s an important detail to note: if you close the PDF file after previously closing the comments panel, the next time you open the PDF, the comments panel will not automatically appear—but only if a specific preference setting is enabled. Make sure to check your preferences to control this behavior.
To check or modify this preference:
- Go to Edit (Windows) or Acrobat (Mac) in the top menu.
- Select Preferences. Keyboard shortcuts: Keyboard shortcut (Cmd + K) Mac and (Ctrl+K) Wins.
- Navigate to the Documents category.
- Look for the option "Restore Last View Settings When Reopening Documents" and enable or disable it as needed.
Let us know if you have more questions.
