Signatures not showing in combined document

I've combined two PDFs, one of which is a scanned singled page with signatures. On combining the two documents, the signatures are not showing. Any reason why this might be?

What kind of signatures? If they're digital signatures you can't combine the files and keep them in tact, unless you combine them as a Portfolio. A digital signature is used, among other things, to ensure the signed file is not edited. Merging it with another file is a major edit, and therefore forbidden.

Thanks for your reply. They are handwritten signatures on a Word document that has been scanned as a PDF, and combined with another Word document that has been saved as a PDF.
