The signature function stopped working and i get a blocked option. I cannot close by clicking the x.

I have a paid version of Acrobat, I erased the program and reinstalled it.

    Hi sulago,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble caused.

This appears to be a weird behaviour. We understand that you’ve already tried reinstalling the application. However, we recommend a complete reinstallation using the steps outlined below:

If that doesn’t resolve the issue, please try removing the signature files from the following locations:

    • %appdata%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\acrobat_fss_signature_initials

    • %appdata%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\acrobat_fss_signature_initialsi

    • %appdata%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\acrobat_fss_signature_initialsk

After deleting these files, reboot your machine again, then launch Acrobat and see if you can add the signatures.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi

    Hi NicoleEustaquio,

    Thank you for the information.

As you are still experiencing the issue, please share the following information for further investigation:

    • Share a small video showing the steps you used and when you check the signatures.

    • Share the current Acrobat version number.
    • Share the OS on the machine
    • Did you happen to check if this happens after any changes made to the machine or the application?
    • Are you using a personal or the work machine?

Once we have the information, we will share it with the product team to investigate this behaviour.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi

Is it normal that the problem repeats itself every month?
