Silent OCR failure

Trying to run OCR on a large body of 90-pages PDFs via https://acrobat.adobe.com/
After having processed a few, ca. 200 files, files added to the queue disappear. If I try to OCR a single file it just reads: "Recognizing text... Give us a moment please" and nothing moves and nothing happens. 

The page limitation is already a problem, but now this? It is written nowhere that there is a limit to how many files one may process a day. Will have to cancel if no solution: I am already adapting by splitting files in 90 pages...

@eduardo_3923 are you trying to OCR online? OMG... use the desktop version... that's probably the reason. And you can combine on the desktop too. Much more stable and faster as well. 

Personally, I would do smaller batches. People probably say 50, I do 25. Yeah, it's more work, but, at least I know it's going to work

The issue is that I aim at processing 8-15k pdfs of 90 pages each and frankly the idea of having my computer completely frozen to run OCR is not ideal...

Please try clearing the cache and cookies for the browser once. Also, could you please confirm how many files you are running for the OCR in a day?

 

We see that you have a Creative Cloud Pro subscription. Please use desktop application in the meantime to run the OCR feature. You may use the steps suggested here: https://adobe.ly/4rlhYgB

This happens regardless of how file is uploaded: from Google Drive, individually, etc.
