Single person signing in multiple places on one PDF

In Acrobat Pro I have a 10 page document that requires the applicant to fill in and sign in several places, but once they sign the first signature block one of two things happens.
1 - the rest of the document becomes uneditable.

2 - they have to save the document each time they add their signature.

is it possible to create the PDF to allow them to click and sign in mulitple places without them running into the above?

1. This depends on how they sign, and how it is set up.

2. No.

There's really no need for a single person to digitally sign a PDF file multiple times, though. A digital signature applies to the entire file as a whole. If you really need them to sign it multiple times have them do it using a stamp or a text field, and then finalize the document by signing with a digital signature, which will lock it.
