Snapping to guides

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

We can try to Disable "Snap to Guides" and "Snap to Grid":

1. Open Acrobat 9.
2. Go to View > Grid and Guides.
3. Uncheck Snap to Grid and Snap to Guides.
4. You should now be able to freely move and position your text fields without being constrained by the grid or guide.

If that doesn't work, next would be to remove or edit the Existing Guide:

1. Go to View > Grid and Guides.
2. Click on Edit Guides or choose to remove the guide that is interfering.
3. Alternatively, manually drag the guide to a different position if you need to keep it but want it out of the way.

Or, you can Enable Ruler and Snap Options (For Precision):

1. Go to View > Show/Hide > Rulers. This will give you a better visual reference for placing fields.
2. Go to View > Grid and Guides and ensure Snap to Grid and Snap to Guides are both unchecked.
3. Now, you can move objects freely, but with the aid of the ruler for precision.

If you hold Shift while pressing the arrow keys, the field will move in larger increments, allowing for more precise placement.
