Question

Some CC apps not opening unless you run them as administrator !

I work in IT for a Local Government Authority, and i recently installed Adobe Creative Suite for two users on our network. Whilst some of the apps open and run ok, four of them come up with an error message when you launch them, which says "the program has stopped working" and the only option is to close the program or debug it.

However if you right click them and select run as an administrator, they open fine.

The four apps in question are Premier Pro CC, After Effects, Median Encoder & Prelude.

I have also had this same issue before after installing Premier Pro CC for a single user.

Obviously none of our standard users are allowed to have administrator rights on our network, so giving them admin rights is not an option.

Has any body else had this issue in a network environment, and if so how did you resolve it ?

I have googled this but not found any specific answers to the problem, which surprises me as it must be a common issue surely !

Our users are running Windows 7 64bit OS.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks....

Kevin
