Hello, when I open any PDF file, a tab appears at the bottom of the Windows taskbar. However, when I drag the document to the second monitor, a ghost tab appears next to the original tab – see image. When I drag the document back to the first monitor, this second tab is also dragged. This second tab cannot be clicked. It is a dead, ghost tab. This started happening when I switched from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I have the latest version of Adobe. Windows is up to date. Thank you for your help.

@karel_1980 I have a feeling this is the most likely culprit. Windows 11 has a setting that controls how app icons are displayed across multiple monitors. Right-click on your Windows 11 taskbar and select "Taskbar settings." Scroll down to "Taskbar behaviors." Find the "Show my taskbar on all displays" option and toggle it. If it's on, turn it off and see if the problem persists. If it's off, turn it on and then off again to reset the behavior. Try changing the setting for "When using multiple displays, show my taskbar apps on" to a different option, such as "All taskbars" or "Taskbar where window is open." This forces the taskbar to re-evaluate how it displays icons.

Hello, thank you for your help and instructions. I tried turning it on and off in various ways, and this problem only occurs when selecting "Main panel where the window is open." It does not cause ghosting in other settings. The strange thing is that it only happens with Adobe Reader. Other programs are fine.
