Splitting up spreads in a flattened pdf

I have a project i need help with. A client gave me a pdf doc in printer spreads (8.5x14). They need me to convert it to single pages (7x8.5) and put them in order.  Is there a script or a trick to this, or is it a matter of doing it manually?
