Standard DC form doesn't work in Adobe 9

Hello all,

I've created a form in Standard DC which will be used with versions of Adobe back to version 9.

All the boxes work except the Date Text box.  I've tried using a text box and making it a date field, I've tried the actual date box.  These work fine in the version I'm using but don't work for users with older versions.

I know the "pat answer" will be upgrage but that isn't so easy in this instance.

Is there something I'm missing, anything suggestions anyone might have?
Oh, I tried saving with a protection password with the acrobat 6.0 and newer option selected and still no dice.

Thanks!

I'm not sure I fully understand your question but I'll try.

When I click the date box the down arrow appears, I then click the down arrow and a calendar appears and I can select a date.

When the user with the V9 opens the same pdf and clicks the date box he gets a down arrow but no calendar ever appears so he can't select a date.

Does that answer your question?

Thanks!

The users with version 9 can enter the date.
