Stop Acrobat Pro XI opening documents in tabs

When I open 2 documents in Adobe Acrobat Pro X1 11.0.07 they appear in tabs. I want them to open as separate pages so I can compare them.
Appreciate assistance with his please.

    Go to the Window menu : Tile : Vertically/Horizontally

    Hey Davidh,

     

    As you wish to open PDFs in different windows rather than opening them in different tabs of same window. So, for that you need to make a slight change in Acrobat's preferences setting.

     

    Navigate to Acrobat>Edit>Preferences> General> uncheck "Open documents as new tabs in the same window">Reboot Acrobat.

      Adobe is still opening in tabs but that option doesn't exist in the general section. Help!
