Stuck on 'removing hidden information' after applying redaction

I am trying to redact data from my PDF, then save, but after selecting apply redactions, i get stuck on the step where is says 'removing hidden information'. The PDF im working on is 400+ pages.

I was able to redact info from a shorter file, about 11 pages. Adobe is up to date.

What could be the cause of my issue?

@WHIT28935720nbdk do you have a screenshot of what's happening to better understand. What platform OS are you using? Did you recently install software or updates, assuming this worked fine before?

I am using Windows 10. There was no recent update to my knowledge, but it is completeley up to date.

I originally got this error attached, but then this particular window stopped appearing. In the bottom right corner of Adobe, there would be a loading bar for the redaction process. The redaction bar would freeze when it got to the step of "removing hidden information"

This feature worked perfectly fine before. It works when working on files with less pages, as i was able to redact on an 11 page PDF and not the 400+ page PDF.

Would you mind checking if the app is updated to the latest version? You can check for updates by going to Help-> Check for Updates.
