Submit button fails to open email dialog in Chrome

I have problem getting the submit [PDF] by email button action to work when opening my forms with Chrome version 66.0.3359.181 (Official Build) (32-bit) the buttons work perfectly in Reader DC and Internet Explorer 11 but not in Chrome. I don't get any error message, the button just does nothing.

It was working in Chrome about a month ago when I tested it but something changed and now we can't get any PDF form to open a mailto: like with the "submit by email" button. Is there anything I can do to make it work again in Chrome?

Hi Kpr,

The Chrome browser uses its own built-in PDF viewer to open the files.

As the submit button works fine on Reader DC and IE11, It does not seem to be an Adobe issue.

You may try once to contact Google support and get this checked.

As an alternative, you may ask the user to download the PDF and open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to fill the form.

Hope the information helps.
