Since Monday we are unable to send pdf document via Gmail.

Once we enter our email address and press submitm, we get a message “We have opened a new broswer toab for you to log in, and nothing happens.

We cleared the cache, restarted the browser, made chrome default, uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobet.

These are versions of Google Chrome & Adobe Acrobet

Thom is correct, it’s not an Acrobat problem. I don’t have a solution, but perhaps a work around.
Add the Gmail account to your default email application (desktop). So when you submit you can choose “Default email application” instead of “Use Webmail” in the popup box.

Yes, I mentioned previously that it was the only way I could get it to work. I’m not so sure it is not an Acrobat problem. Everything processes as normal through Chrome but the “signal” is not getting back to Acrobat.

I am also having this problem. Adobe gets stuck waiting.

Is this a regular Acrobat form? or an XFA form?

But regardless, Acrobat does not send emails directly. It hands off the email request to some other tool, either the local email client, or a remote service that uses a known protocol. If you are having problems with Gmail, which is a remote service, then the problem is with GMail, not Acrobat.

There is no “compose new email” action. Are you using the URL with a “mailto:” command?
